I am an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Emory University, where I study international migration, education, sexuality, and quantitative methods. In particular, my research considers how state policies and other national institutions contribute to social inequality for immigrants. My work has been published in Social Forces, International Migration Review, Public Opinion Quarterly, Population Research and Policy Review, and other venues.
