I am an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Emory University. Using the cases of education and sexuality, my research seeks to understand how state policies and other national institutions shape immigrants’ well-being and decisions. My work has been published in American Sociological Review, Social Forces, International Migration Review, Public Opinion Quarterly, Population Research and Policy Review, and other venues.
